The first person to settle in the Boyne area for agricultural purposes.
- Paul Hiebert (1892–1987)
He won the Stephen Leacock Award for Humour in 1947 with his first book Sarah Binks, a Canadian bestseller. - Rodmond Palen Roblin (1853–1937)
He was premier of Manitoba from 1900 to 1915 - George Sexsmith (1845-1912)
Sexsmith was a councillor for the RM of Dufferin from its organization in 1891 to 1894. - Samuel James Staples (1863–1930)
Staples was an early businessman, Councillor, Town Mayor and active community volunteer. - Agnes Wightman Wilkie (1904–1942)
Wilkie was the only Royal Canadian Navy nursing sister killed by enemy action during the Second World War.
