Dufferin Christian School
A building was moved onto NW 24-6-5w in 1970 to serve the needs of members of the Canadian Reformed School Society who believed that education should be in harmony with teaching in the home and church. The first school has had several additions over the years.
The official opening took place in September 28, 1973 with six grades and two teachers.
The school currently serves K-12.
The parents of Dufferin Christian School envision DCS as a place where students and teachers are engaged in the study of various subjects and enlightened by the Word of God, as confessed in the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort, for living a life of Christian discipleship in contemporary society.
Dufferin Christian School offers a learning program that is approved by Manitoba, Education and Youth, taking into account a variety of abilities and needs God has given to each child.
