In 1984 the Province of Manitoba's Historic Resources Branch undertook a major study of heritage sites in the Carman-Dufferin area. Entitled A Review of the Heritage Resources of Boyne Planning District, by historian Karen Nicholson, this study has been a valuable resource for the Carman-Dufferin Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee, particularly In preparation of our website.
